I have been busy sewing lately. It gives me something to do when I am not cleaning the house. I come across these wonderful sites that give tutorials on projects and they get me motivated! I know too many people having babies, and it is so hard not to dust the sewing machine off and start working!
I had a friend of mine ask me to make her a special blanket with an appliqued bird on it. The bird is representing her daughter that passed away from SIDS. Her name was Ava and Ava means "little bird" I was not sure if I could pull this off, but I did, and it turned out GREAT!
